Founded in 2010, Saskatoon Lindy Hop organizes several social swing dances and special events throughout the year. The styles of dance promoted by Saskatoon Lindy Hop developed primarily from the 1920's through the 1940's in the juke joints and ballrooms of America. Harlem, in New York City, was the birthplace of a dance called the Lindy Hop from which we take our organization's name. As well as the Lindy Hop we also promote dance styles such as Charleston, blues, and vernacular jazz.
